BBSked '92 (c)1992 Glen Johnson - All Rights Reserved
=====================================================
This program is designed to run as a login autodoor on Searchlight(tm) BBS
systems, although it should work on just about ANY BBS sofware. Its also
serves as a nifty little standalone program that you can just keep for
your own use; you don't even have to run a BBS to enjoy it.
BBSked '92 checks your system date, then searches its database for major
league baseball games scheduled on that date. If it finds any, it displays
them for you. I/O to the screen is done through BIOS calls so you can run
it remotely or on a BBS.
If you are installing this program as an autodoor on a Searchlight(tm)
BBS system, you should note that the program doesn't display any color,
and it does no modem I/O . It depends on the BBS program to redirect its
screen output to the com port or FOSSIL.
The program is only good for the 1992 baseball season.
This is a shareware program, its not freeware. Although its not full of
bells and whistles, I hope you can appreciate the effort it took to
program 2000+ baseball games into the thing, and I sure would appreciate
a $5 registration donation. I've checked and double checked the schedule,
and the program is accurate to the best of my knowledge.
BBSked '92 expects to find its database, MLB.DAT in the current
directory . Make sure its there or you won't get much displayed!
It also expects your system to report the system date in MM-DD-YYYY
format, and will likely bomb if you use any other date format.
Also, please don't try to edit MLB.DAT . There's just a bunch of numbers
in there, and if you change any of 'em, the program will not report
the baseball schedule accurately and may crash.
